Our department has experienced significant change and growth since the inauguration of Civil Engineering at WEC 12 years ago. We strive for excellence in teaching and learning, research, and community service. Our mission is to prepare our graduates for proper application of basic and advanced engineering knowledge and skills in the design, analysis and research of engineering systems; to prepare them to compete successfully in today's job market, and to facilitate the growth of life-long learning tools.

We offer PEC LEVEL-II accredited undergraduate degree in civil engineering. In addition, there are opportunities for graduate study at the master’s levels in Construction Engineering and Management. The department is continuously updating the curricula of undergraduate and graduate program to keep pace with national and international academic and industrial developments. The department is equipped with high quality laboratories and workshops that cover all aspects of civil engineering.
